Contractor licence renewal tracker
One licence is a date in a calendar. Four licences across three states, each with its own cycle and its own continuing-education rule, is a system — and the failure mode is silent until somebody checks your record.
One row per licence. The list sorts by the nearest deadline, which is the only order that matters once you hold more than one.

Continuing-education hours must come from a provider your board approves by name, and the certificate is what an audit asks for — keep it.

§ 1What this tracks
Expiry dates, renewal cycles and continuing-education progress, per licence, sorted by urgency. It runs in your browser; print it or re-enter it — nothing is stored on a server.
§ 2Why the date is the whole thing
In a board state an expired licence is not a lesser licence. Work you contract while it is expired is unlicensed work, which reaches your right to be paid for it. The fee difference is the least of it.
| Path | Sole owner | Non-sole owner |
|---|---|---|
| Renew on time, active | $450 | $700 |
| Lapse, then reactivate | $450 | $700 |
| Difference | $0 | $0 |
§ 3Continuing education
Where your board requires CE, two rules matter more than the hours: the provider must be one your board approves by name, and you must keep the certificate. Audits arrive after the renewal has already been granted, and a provider from two cycles ago may not be there to reissue anything.
§ 4Do not let the bond gap
The bond behind the licence has to be continuous too. A gap between one bond ending and the next beginning is visible to the board and is a separate problem from the licence renewal itself — set the bond’s renewal date alongside the licence’s.
