Privacy policy

The short version

Every calculator on this site runs in your browser. The numbers you type into a bond premium estimate or a workers’ comp worksheet are never sent to us, never stored on a server, and are gone when you close the tab.

What we do collect

• Aggregate page analytics. Which pages get read, from which country, on what kind of device. Two scripts do this: Google Analytics 4 (measurement id G-QXYMX6MJ1Y) and Vercel Analytics. GA4 sets first-party cookies — _ga and a _ga_* pair — holding a randomly generated id so a returning reader is counted once rather than twice; that is a Google product, and Google ’s own terms govern what it does with the data. Vercel Analytics sets no cookie. We run no ad network and no remarketing tag on this site.
• Server logs. Our host records the usual request metadata — IP address, user agent, path, timestamp — and rotates them.
• Messages you send us. The contact form sends your name, email address and message to the editor by email. They are used only to reply to you, and the site itself does not store them.

What we do not do

We do not sell data. We do not run third-party ad networks. We do not ask you to make an account, and there is nothing here to log in to.

Some articles and vendor listings on this site are paid placements. Payment buys presence, never the page’s verdict or a vendor’s ranking, and every vendor claim is checked against the vendor’s own documentation before it is published. A sponsor never sees anything about you.
